Delhi tourist places Delhi first name is Kuruchetra. Delhi, India's capital, is a sprawling metropolis in the country's northwestern corner. Air pollution is projected to kill about 2 million people in India each year, making it the country's fifth leading cause of death. According to the WHO, India has the highest death rate from chronic respiratory disorders including asthma in the world.

  1. India Gate

 The India Gate is a war memorial on the eastern border of New Delhi's "ceremonial axis," originally known as Kingsway, on the Rajpath.

 It serves as a memorial to the 90,000 British Indian Army soldiers who perished in the First World War, in France, Flanders, Mesopotamia, Persia, East Africa, Gallipoli, and elsewhere in the Near and Far East, as well as the Third Anglo-Afghan War, between 1914 and 1921.

The names of 13,300 personnel, including some British soldiers and officers, are engraved on the gate. The gate, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is reminiscent of triumphal arch architecture, such as the Arch of Constantine in Rome.

The Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila, is a mediaeval fort in Old Delhi, Delhi, India, that served as the Mughal Emperors' principal palace. When Emperor Shah Jahan chose to move his headquarters from Agra to Delhi, he ordered the construction of the Red Fort on May 12, 1638.

3. Qutab Minar Delhi tourist places

The Qutub Minar is a tower and "victory tower" that is part of the Qutb complex. It is also written Qutb Minar and Qutab Minar. It is located in the Mehrauli neighborhood of South Delhi, India, and is a World Heritage Site.

 It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city because it is one of the oldest on the Indian subcontinent.

4. Lotus Temple

The Lotus Temple is a Bahá House of Worship in Delhi, India, that was opened in December 1986. It has become a popular tourist attraction due to its flower-like design. The Lotus Temple, like all Holy places, is available to everyone, irrespective of religion or other qualifications. 

The temple was consecrated on the 23rd and 27th of December 1986, in the presence of 8,000 Bahás from 107 nations, including 4,000 Bahás from 22 Indian districts. The temple was originally available to the public on January 1st, and over 10,000 individuals came that day.

According to CNN correspondent Manpreet Brar, it had received more than 70 million visitors by late 2001. According to India's permanent mission to UNESCO, the Lotus Temple had had over 100 million tourists by April 2014.

5. Jama Masjid

It was established between 1650 and 1656 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and dedicated by its first Imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari.

 It was the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the empire's fall in 1857, and it was located in the Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad (today's Old Delhi).

There are four more Muslim restaurants here. People come here from far away on Friday and read Jummah prayer. On that day it becomes like a fair here.

6. Bangla sahib (Gurudwara)

Bangla Sahib Gurudwara is the big Gurudwara in Delhi. It's built in a lot of space. this is very old, There is always a langar going on here, Poor people living around the Gurudwara come here to eat food. And those people work here too. 

 The inner wall of the Gurudwara is made of gold and roof. It's nice to see the walls here. There's always a sound going on here. There is a pond for fish all around the Gurudwara, where there is a lot of colored fish.

7. Metro 

Metro i like Delhi metro Because i also living in Delhi. Metro has run at many places in Delhi. The traffic on the road has reduced because of Metro.

 Those people whose office was far away, due to the metro, those people reach early. The first line of the Metro was the Red Line. Who used to go from Dilshad Garden to Rithala. Today metro is spread all over Delhi. 

The Delhi Metro is a mass rapid transit system in India that serves Delhi and its satellite cities of Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Bahadurgarh, and Ballabhgarh. It is India's largest and busiest metro train system, as well as the country's second-oldest, following the Kolkata Metro.
